Harney Peak has numerous trails.  The most common approaches are Trail #9 from Sylvan Lake or Trail #4 Cathedral Spires Trail.  I recommend a loop.  A more rigorous hike is to approach the mountain from Willow Creek.  Below is an approximate grid representing the vertical climb on the Sylvan Lake to Harney to Cathedral Spires to Sylvan Lake loop.  This map was generated with Delorme's Topo 2.0.
