Horse vs. Lion This is being circulated on the Internet. Here's the caption: These pics came from somebody in a hunting party in Arizona. Yes, the horse killed the Mountain Lion! The Cougar had been stalking them for the better part of the morning, on the way out to a hunt.

They were pretty sure it was after a dog. The Cat apparently ambushed them, and the horse pictured tossed its rider and went into attack (defense) mode, the horses scattered and shots were fired but no one was sure if they hit the Cat or not.

Not real. Horses first instink it to run. Only as a last resort will they stand and fight ( unless stallion agaist stallion) Their prey they run form dangour. Also with teh heavy saddle and the bridle chances are it would have been taken down quickly

not true. all the predators attack from back to force the prey fall and attack therir neck. Lion never confronts unless required.

U guys are all dimwits!!! Its obvious the horse/mule isn't wild as it has a saddle pack and tack on and if you look closely you can see the lead reins are actually over the lion... so the lion may be holding the horse down 4 all you know!!!

This is Real, saw it on Animal Planet or discovery channel. The truth is it was a mule and it was protecting its owner. the mule came from an abusive home to a mule relief center and the owner n mule were out hiking, don't believe me call animal planet or discovery channel.

This is just an elaborate photoshop device. It is achieved by using the 'rotate canvas command'. This turns the image 180 degrees.
