Thanks for the trip report, it greatly helped me out this weekend when I went to hike Mt. Rogers (although I never actually made it to the high point because I had to park near the park entrance and hike up to Massie Gap since the roads were covered in snow). It was a lot of fun and brutally cold. But I did get many pictures of the ponies so I attached them to this e-mail, thanks.
